Terms of service

These terms, together with the privacy policy and the refund policy, are the agreement between DANIEL MARQUES PINTO CONSULTORIA EM TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, doing business as FileCrew, and you. FileCrew, we, us, and our mean that company. You means the person using the service. The service means the filecrew.app website, the FileCrew WhatsApp bot, and the features we offer through them.

By using the service, you confirm you have read and agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. We may update them. When the law requires notice, we will tell you before the changes take effect and give you time to review them. If you keep using the service after that, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service. You can disconnect your number on the account page at any time.

1. Eligibility

You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. If you are under 18, you may not use the service.

2. The service

FileCrew edits PDF and image files you send on WhatsApp, up to 50MB each. It is free. You do not need an account to message the bot. Signing in with Google only links your WhatsApp number to an account on this site.

We may change features, add limits, or stop the service. We will update this page when we do.

3. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping it secure. Do not share it or transfer it. You are responsible for activity on the account, and for messages sent to the bot from your WhatsApp number.

4. Your files and prohibited uses

Only send files you have the right to use. Your files stay yours. We use them only to run the operation you pick, then delete them as described in the privacy policy.

You agree not to:

• Upload or share illegal, abusive, or infringing content.
• Use the service to harass anyone, or to impersonate someone.
• Overload the service, or try to break it.
• Sell, share, or transfer an account.

We may block numbers that do any of this.

5. Fees and payments

FileCrew is free. There is no subscription and no charge for using the bot.

If we later offer a paid plan, the price will be shown before you pay. A paid subscription renews until you cancel it. Refunds follow the refund policy. A full refund of the first purchase is available for 14 days if you cancel from your account. Renewals and later charges are not refundable.

6. Privacy

The privacy policy says what we collect and why. By using FileCrew you agree to that policy. We use personal information to run the service, not for ads and not to train models.

7. Third parties

Messages and files travel through WhatsApp, which Meta runs. Meta handles them under the WhatsApp terms and privacy policy, not these terms. We also use Cloudflare R2 to store files, Vercel to run the app, and Google for sign-in. We do not control those services and we are not responsible for them.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. That includes merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Results can be wrong or incomplete, for example text extraction on a scanned PDF. Keep your originals, because we delete our copy. Use the service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, FileCrew is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service or your inability to use it.

10. Disputes

Before you start a legal case, you agree to try to resolve the dispute with us informally for 30 days. If it is still unresolved, it will be settled by binding arbitration in São Paulo, Brazil, in English, with one arbitrator, under Brazilian law.

11. Changes

We may change these terms at any time. Changes apply when we post them on this page. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
